French Bronze of Leda and the Swan

Recently acquired from a Boca Raton Estate we are pleased to offer this exquisite & massive Bronze sculpture by world famous French artist ‘Jean-Baptiste Clesinger (1814-1833). The stunning bronze is mounted on solid marble and the overall size is 30” long x 13” deep x 17” tall. I would estimate the weight to be in the 50-60 lb range. The sculpture retains 99% of its original polychromed finish and the base is artist signed. One of these sold in a London South Kensington auction 23 November 2010 for $12,943 US dollars! We are offering this piece for $3,250 picked up at the store or, buyer to pay actual shipping cost if you choose to have it shipped. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or, cashiers’ check. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment.
